Woodburner sweep & service inspection includes:

• Casting/bodywork check
• Glass seal inspection
• Door seal inspection
• Firebricks and baffle plate condition (simple firebrick cracks repaired where possible)
• Air intake valves operating correctly
• Connections and seals checked
• Carbon monoxide alarm checked
• Thorough stove clean internal & external
• Smoke test

Pricing for sweeping and servicing:

• Open fire sweep £70
• Door rope replacement £40 (£50 double door)
• Glass seal replacement £20 (£30 double door)
• Ash tray door seal £25 (£15 if with above)
• Stove pipe reseal £20
• Debris collar supplied & fitted £20
• Carbon monoxide alarm supplied & fitted £35
• Inglenooks & unlined woodburners POA

Chunky oak mantles give a beautiful finishing touch to your fireplace. I have supplied and fitted hundreds to satisifed customers in Bristol and beyond.

Each oak beam has its own unique character, patterns and textures. I generally supply them at 1200mm length, 150x100mm and finished in Danish oil to bring out the natural colours and grain of the wood. Please do get in touch if you have any specific requirements.
